About Me:

As much as I LOVE photography, if I am going to describe myself, I have to start with the fact that I am a wife to an amazing, supportive husband and a mother to 3 wonderful children.  They are my life.  They and my Savior come first and my photography is second.  I strive to keep a proper balance between my home and family life and the photography that I love to do.  I truly feel so honored and blessed to be asked to document these special moments for you.

I often get asked how I got into photography.  I have to start with my dad, who always had a camera with him and captured so many important memories of our family on his film.  My parents that gave me my first point and shoot camera and my first SLR camera.  I have to credit my yearbook teacher who taught me how to use my camera on manual and also my college professors who helped me see photography as an art.  I have to thank my grandparents and aunts who encouraged me to pursue photography outside of a hobby and my cousin who believed in me enough to ask me to photograph her wedding.  For me photography started out as a hobby, a college major, a candid photographer for my friends’ weddings and the photographer from my kids and my family.  It wasn’t until I did my cousins' wedding that my name was put out there and began being passed around word or mouth.  Through the support of family and friends my love of taking pictures developed into Frame by Frame Photography.

My Style:

I love everything and every aspect of every photo session: newborns, babies, kids, families, seniors, engagement, maternity and wedding.   For that reason, I will do everything that I can to give you the pictures that reflect who you are as an individual, a family or as a couple.  My style is to stray away from the stiff, posed pictures.  I want your pictures to be natural, to be relaxed, to be fun.   I realize that some people love having their pictures taken whereas some people feel more shy and awkward in front of the camera.  My goal is to make you feel comfortable, to make you feel like yourself – that is when you are your most beautiful.   Confidence goes a long way to add that “extra something” to your pictures. I want you to believe in yourself and who you are as a person.

Kids/Families:   When I am working with kids, I love the moment when they open up to me and show me their personality – that is when I get that genuine smile.  For that reason, I take my time with your kids.  If at all possible, I want to avoid that “say cheese” smile.  I would rather talk with them, walk with them, play with them.  It is so rewarding to see them open up to me and you will love seeing their natural smile!   When it comes to your family pictures: let me know what your style is.  Are you looking just to have your family pictures taken or do you also want more of a lifestyle session:  non-posed pictures, you interacting/playing with your kids?  What fits you as a family?

Seniors/Engagements:  This is your moment to shine!  I love these sessions!  Be yourself and have fun with it!   When it comes to your pictures, I want them to represent who you are.  Your “poses” will be a combination of me directing you into poses and you doing what comes natural to you.

Weddings:  This is one of the most important days of your life.  My goal is to photograph your whole day.  I love the little moments, the details and your pictures will reflect that.  I will shoots a wide of variety of pictures: close-up, distance, candid, non-posed and a few traditional pictures.  As a whole they will tell the story of your wedding.
